Location and Arrival


Russbach - im Hintergrund das Gamsfeld Our Schwaighofer country house is located in a very sunny and central spot with magnificent views of both the Tennengebirge mountain range and our own particular mountain, the Gamsfeld, which is 2,000 metres high.


The village centre (shops and restaurants), the water and adventure park, the Hornbahn, the ski school and the SPATZENNEST children’s club are only two minutes walk away.
Nature lovers can set off on numerous hikes from the front door of our country house.

The quickest way to the Schwaighofer country house.

Take the Tauern autobahn until the Golling / Abtenau exit. After approx. 25 km you will arrive at Rußbach.Take west access road 1. The house is on the right-hand side.
Take the west autobahn until the Regau/Gmunden exit at Bad Ischl then travel through Gosau to Rußbach. Take the east access road. Continue approximately 150 m past the church. We are the last house on the left-hand side.
